Fluxlix, Inc. ("Fluxlix", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our self-hosted AI development platform and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services or visiting our website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Self-Hosted Software — Your Code Stays on Your Servers

Fluxlix is a self-hosted platform deployed entirely on customer infrastructure, whether on-premises or within a private cloud environment. This architecture has important privacy implications:

  • Customer source code, work items, conversations, and project data are stored entirely on customer-controlled servers.
  • Fluxlix does not have access to, collect, or store customer source code or development data.
  • AI interactions (e.g., Claude API calls) are made directly from the customer's infrastructure to the AI provider — Fluxlix never proxies or intercepts these communications.
  • Your intellectual property remains on your infrastructure at all times.

3. License Telemetry

To verify license compliance, Fluxlix installations send periodic heartbeat data to our license server. We are transparent about what this telemetry includes and excludes.

Telemetry data includes:

  • Installation ID and license ID
  • Software version and license tier
  • Resource usage counts (number of users, projects, and agents — counts only, not content)
  • Uptime metrics

Telemetry data does NOT include:

  • Source code or file contents
  • Work item content or descriptions
  • Conversation content
  • AI prompts or responses
  • Repository URLs or names
  • Any customer intellectual property

Telemetry is required for Demo, Team, and Business license tiers. Enterprise customers may opt out of telemetry with an air-gap deployment configuration. All telemetry data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and stored securely on our servers.

4. Third-Party AI Services (BYOK Model)

Fluxlix operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for AI services. This means:

  • Customers configure their own API keys for AI providers (currently Anthropic Claude).
  • All AI API calls originate from the customer's Fluxlix installation, not from Fluxlix servers.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing and complying with their AI provider's terms of service and privacy policies.
  • Fluxlix does not receive, store, or have access to customer AI API keys or AI interaction data.

5. Website and Form Data

We collect information you voluntarily provide through our website forms, including:

  • License request forms: company name, contact name, email address, team size, and tier preference.
  • Contact and sales forms: company information and use case descriptions.

This data is used to process license requests, respond to inquiries, and communicate with you about our products and services. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Our marketing website may use essential cookies required for basic site functionality. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Any analytics data collected is used solely to improve our website and services.

7. Data Retention

  • Website form data: Retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of collection, or as required by applicable law.
  • License telemetry data: Retained for the duration of the license term plus 90 days, after which it is deleted.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access your personal data that we hold

9. Data Security

  • All data transmission between Fluxlix installations and our license server uses TLS 1.2+ encryption.
  • License telemetry data is stored with encryption at rest.
  • We maintain administrative, technical, and physical security measures consistent with industry standards to protect data in our possession.
  • In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will promptly notify affected parties in accordance with applicable laws.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Material changes will be communicated via our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
